Gem Mint 10

A card that is deemed a RCA 10 is nearly flawless. This card has extraordinary eye appeal that is unaffected by any minor surface dimples/imperfections. This card has all its original gloss. The fronty centering on this card is 50/50 and or 55/45. the centering on the back of the card is no worse than 65/35. An RCA 10 has no stains/creases and is very appealing to the eye.

Mint 9

A card that is deemed RCA 9 is in excellent condition. the card has teriffic eye appeal but contains minor flaws. dimples, off-white card borders are some examples. RCA 9s are centered at least 60/40 on the front and no less than 80/20 on the back.

Near Mint-Mint 8

A card that is deemed a RCA 8 appears to a mint 9 at first glance, but upon further inspection, the card can exhibit the following: slight stains, slight fraying on one or two corners, a minor print imperfection, and/or slightly off-white borders. front centering must be approximately 65/35 to 70/30 or better and 90/10 or better on the back.

Near Mint 7

A RCA 7 is a card with just a slight surface wear visible upon close inspection. there may be slight fraying on some corners, a minor print blemish is acceptable. a RCA 7 could have staining on the back of the card. there is a possibility the card will be slightly out of focus or suffer front print dots. a RCA 7 centering is at least 75/25 on the front and 90/10 on the back.

Excellent-Mint 6

A RCA 6 could show signs of more serious surface wear than a RCA 7 such as a noticeable scratch. a RCA 6 may show rounding of its corners. picture focus may be slightly out-of-register. card may show original loss of gloss, may have minor wax stains on the back, may show some off-whiteness on the borders. centering must be 80/20 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

Very Good 5

On RCA 5 cards, very minor rounding of the corners is becoming evident. surface wear or printing defects are more visible. there may be slight chipping on edges. loss of original gloss will be more apparent. several light scratches may be visible upon close inspection, but do not detract from the appeal of the card. centering must be 85/15 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

Very Good-Excellent 4

A RCA 4 cards corners may be slightly worn. surface wear is noticeable but acceptable. the card may have light scratches or impressions, some original gloss will be retained. a RCA 4 may posses a minor crease. centering must be at least 85/15 on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

Very Good 3

A card assessed a RCA 3 revisal some rounded corners, though not extreme. some surface wear will be apparent, along with possible light surface scratching or scuffing. most of the original gloss is dismissed due to scuffs. a crease may be found in the card. borders may be somewhat yellow3ed or discolored. a RCA 3 must have centering of at least 90/10 on both front and the back.

Good 2

A RCA 2 has serious rounded corners. there could be several creases found in the card. the original gloss is missing because the card is severely scratched, scuffed, stained and/or chipped. this card must have at least 90/10 centering on the front and back.

Poor 1

A RCA 1 is so defective that almost all eye of the card is gone. a RCA 1 is likely to have major creasing apparent. the card may be dirtited or significantly discolored. there are no centering requirements on this card.
